mental health check⋆in
This month was all about health for Gio and me. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed on the 2nd. It was a pretty quick operation and I recovered in a week’s time. I’m glad I had it done and I don’t have to worry about it anymore. It was a stressor in the back of my mind ever since they first came in a few years ago.
Giovanni had the big snip snip on the 24th. He’s still recovering as of today. I am so grateful to the Heart of Chelsea Veterinary team for taking such good care of my baby Gio for such an important operation!
I also started working out again using the BODY by Blogilates app. In the evenings, I do a quick workout following my personalized 90-day journey. I found it has been helping with my mental health to move a little each day even when I don’t feel like going out for long periods of time. I’m not going to pressure myself to do a workout every day, but I do want to do every workout even if it takes more than 90 days.
My job search is still ongoing, and I pray I find something soon. I’ve had some interviews so hopefully, I hear back within the next few weeks. My goal is to work in a design position so I’m manifesting that I get it!
One major highlight of the month was getting to see my Queen, Lady Gaga, at the CHROMATICA BALL on the 11th! It was my 4th time seeing her perform live and my first time seeing her do her pop hits! The first 3 times were all Jazz performances with Tony Bennett. It was such a magical evening! I love her beyond words could even describe.
Seeing her perform definitely gave me the moral boost I was needing for the past few weeks. It made me feel less alone to hear her sing about her struggles, plus it didn’t hurt to dance and cry to her songs. CHROMATICA is all about celebrating life despite the trauma, and it was just what I needed this month!
don’t forget to share what you’ve been up to this month in the comments below!
I’d love to hear what you’re currently loving!
