One of the crafting projects I worked on this month was sewing up my new Petite pouches from imadethatbag.
Lorna is the designer and founder of the one-woman bag-making brand! Earlier this month, she posted about a sale for bundles and I immediately loved the purple, pink and iridescent bundle. I had to buy it when she posted it for sale on her stories! You can order the pieces sewn or sew them yourself making them a great craft for a quiet afternoon!
The pouches are great for organizing the small bits and bobs that float around in my bag. They can also be paired with a host bag which gives the Petite pouches a whole new life making the imadethatbag so sustainable! I can’t wait to add more pieces to my little collection and maybe get a Tika Bag for Gio!
As always, consider supporting a local small business! Check out the imadethatbag Instagram for all of the designs she offers!

mental health check⋆in
This month had its ups and downs. Just as in May, I’m extremely grateful to have Gio in my life. There have been the challenges of being away from him while at work (someone has to pay for all his treats and toys), but it is so nice to come home to my sweet boy who greets me with unconditional love and slobbery kisses. He always brightens my darker days.
Some things didn’t go as planned, like the IKEA order fiasco causing Gio + me to miss the IGGIES of NY meetup, but I’m trying to roll with the punches and keep moving forward. I’m missing my friends, and my mental health treatment team is changing so there’s a lot of adjustment happening in the past 2 weeks that will also carry over to next month.
I hope that July improves and I start to feel a little better again. I’ve found that using the DBT skills of Opposite Action and Distract with Wise Mind ACCEPTS, along with a little self-compassion really helped me get through June.
Plus now that the majority of the PAX wardrobe project is completed, I can post more content in my free time after work!
don’t forget to share what you’ve been up to this month in the comments below!
I’d love to hear what you’re currently loving!
