My interest in designing and creating has always been the core of who I am. I’ve been sewing since I was 13, originally beginning my studies at the HIGH SCHOOL OF FASHION INDUSTRIES. Next, I departed on my first study abroad experience at FLORENCE UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS. I then started my college education at the FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. While in the AAS Fashion Design program, I studied abroad for a semester at POLIMODA (FIRENZE, ITALIA). I’m currently completing my BFA in the Footwear and Accessories Design program at FIT.

In all honesty, I’ve had a very complicated relationship with the fashion industry. Between the environmentally destructive impact and the overall devastation, it’s had on generations of people’s body images, I think it’s beyond time for a change.
One small way I can do that is by reinterpreting the size chart.
I wanted to replace the standards of numbers and the shame that comes along with them. Figuring out your size can be a very triggering and distressing thing to do, but reimagining the tags to have cute and dreamy tags takes a bit of that stress away.
