My name is Giselle Gabriella, and I am a multi-media artist based in New York City. I specialize in fabrics, fibers, paper, and rhinestones!

LUSH LILAC began back in 2015 as a way for me to process trauma through an artistic lens. It allows me to reinvent the sadness and heartbreak into something new and hopeful.

On this blog, I write about my interests + document my passions. I want to use this corner of the internet to share what makes me excited to keep going every day while also navigating life with mental illness.

The Lush Lilac Fantasy was inspired by living life through la vie en rose, while endlessly reimagining my own experiences through colored glasses.

living in a world created around reclaimed melancholy and anguish, I choose to live la vie en lilas. The name comes from Lady Gaga’s cover of Lush Life and my favorite color, lilac, a shade of purple.

Immersing the viewer in a multisensory experience, Lush Lilac is so much more than an aesthetic — it’ IS a lifestyle.

I currently live in New York City and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
